Softy, the Marshmallow in the Fire Spark
A living gradient, this girl’s face, shoulders, and front legs are covered in pristine white. This fades into orange at her midsection, red at her abdomen and hind legs, and finally into pure black on her butt and tail. Her orange wings are tipped with red along the edges while the tufts atop her ears are orange. All of this can be quite interesting and pleasant to look at, especially with her soft and long fur, but those bright red eyes are a little creepy…
The first impression this Spark gives is adorable. She is sweet and happy. She does cute things and likes to cuddle and be around people. Her personality is as light and fluffy as a marshmallow—everyone enjoys her. But at the most random times—sometimes for no clear reason—it is as if someone has lit her on fire and charred her once white heart. She turns evil. When something sets her temper off, she will attack with the full force of her little body and Shafa teeth can hurt when backed with rage. She will take some time on her own to cool down, and soon return as the angelic fluff she was before something (always unexpected) made her angry. She may explode into bright oranges and reds without losing her lovely personality, but she can hardly stop exploding once her temper sets off.

Chill Yo' Pants, the Jalapenos in Bad Places Jelly
#25671a
He is the grey-green of many Jelly, though a rather deep shade of it. His wings and tail are dark grey. The only visibly noticeable things about him are his eyes, which are the bright, rich green of jalapenos. There also seems to be some…crazy spark in his pupil-less gaze. His explosions result in the same jalapeno-color and, if tasted, the jelly is quite spicy!
Although Jelly are known to be a nuisance to their Bondeds, this boy is over-the-top. He is crazy, feisty, and explosive (both literally and figuratively). He is always moving, running around yelling Ayeayeayeayeayeaye! at high speeds. Aye! seems to be the only word he knows and he will sometimes say it once, twice, but usually there is a train of them. He doesn’t seem to know what peace and quiet are, for he never settles down. Even in his sleep, he may explode or pop awake and start yelling. He will try to get those he likes to be hyper with him or go running around the Weyrd with him, but the fact that he causes himself to explode so often (aside other things causing it) means that things get messy fast. He can also be protective and makes for quite an interesting and obnoxious body guard.

Cute, the Don’t Take My Word For It Jelly
Italic #006dff
Not many shafa could claim to be into a good book. That is, not many shafa could even claim to know how to read, and yes the little guy does have quite the difficulty, what with language being a complicated thing. He mostly sticks to children’s books with lots of pictures or large, clear lettering. It might take him days to get through a small book one word at a time. But he doesn’t mind. Of course, he’d be more than happy to shove the book into his bonded’s lap instead and sit down for a proper story time.
He tends to think a book can cure anything, whether it’s homesickness, ignorance, boredom, or depression. Any situation that he thinks calls for some cheering up will have him jumping to the bookshelf and dragging an assortment of books over. If they’re patient, he might even read to them, but being a rather monosyllabic species it’s gonna take a while.
He’s extremely resistant to explosion, if only for the fact that goop and jelly tend to ruin books. Since he tends to spend most of his time indoors and by the shelves, well he probably has the most self control of any Jelly you’d ever meet. For the most part, he is a drab color, well suited to blending in on an oak wood shelf. Parts of his coat contain very blurred black stripes that could resemble the grain and knots of cut wood, but the details refuse to come into focus. His fur is short, glistening like velvet but with a harsher texture.

Don't, the Time for a Game of Disappearing Bears Flame
italic #9c0a0a
The idea that anything shafa like could have a bad bone in it’s body is… uncomfortable to think about. This one somehow manages it, even though Flames are usually known to be the more passive and cautious of their kind, this one actually enjoys some chaos. Not the nice and ‘funny’ kind. Some of his pranks are rather cruel, and painful for the victim.
Now, he doesn’t generally use his explosive flames for such things. One, it’s very incriminating; two, it leaves him a bit prone for a while. He prefers stealing things and planting them on other people, or trying to mix up communications to make it sound like two people hate each other. It’s not much - as a shafa he’s not super capable of doing anything major.
On his more physical moments, he likes to chew at people’s chair legs so they snap when they sit down. Hopefully they’ll hit their heads on the way down, and then he can laugh in his terrible chittering voice.
He can also bring people’s spirits up, acting like a devil’s advocate to encourage them to do what they want to disastrous results.
Flame’s aren’t known for looking much different from one to one. His black wings, back and head are typical. His chest leans towards a fiery orange which travels to his tail as well. The white line separating the colors is very thin, and wispy, nearly invisible. The most unique thing about him and that he’s lanky and longer than your average shafa, having a body that resembles more a weasel than a rabbit.

Cupcake, the Love Isn't a State of Perfect Caring, It Is an Active Noun Like Struggle Flame
#d25d5d
As if a perfect counterpoint to his rather cruel brother, this Flame is in a constant state of zen and kindness. He bestows everyone he meets with a cute little shafa smile and a quiet nose nuzzle before moving on to the next person. Something about him just creates a calming aura in the area.
He’s not prone to anger or outbursts, though he does frown and get upset when he notices others being cruel to each other. As such, he spent a lot of his childhood trying to stop his brother’s troublesome ways, or at least comforting the victims once all was over. It’s not much, but he believes even a little bit of kindness can go a long way - more so if everyone would pass it along.
Perhaps most would think him a little too optimistic but he’d explain, as best as a shafa could, that obviously they’ve just been let down by the world. It’s not something he enjoys, but being hurt by others should be no reason to hurt more.
His black fur is greyed out, older looking, while the red on his chest is faded. Unlike his brother, his tail is part of the black. The separation between colors is a little more obvious, as the line is rather thick. It helps distinguish little red socks on his paws. He’s not particularly big, nor skinny, just a perfect rabbit to hold.

*finger wag*, the We’ll Win This Game The Old-Fashioned Way, We’ll Cheat! Male Pinata
bold underlined #580052
Games are meant to be won, by any means necessary if this shafa has his way about it. He tends to throw tantrums if he’s on the losing side of any competition, and will do his level best to mess with the other team. Cheating isn’t just a suggestion, it’s actively encouraged! The cheats themselves might as well be the game!
He’s also extremely distracting, to the annoyance of his teammates, prone to screeching out simple insults that he heard on the street. He’s a parrot to bad words, anything that garners a negative reaction is stored into this tiny brain to be brought out in full force later. While he’s more prone to be calling his enemies blithering idiots, that doesn’t mean he won’t do the same to his own teammates, or his bonded.
Pinata are prone to being scrawnier, but this boy looks almost… sickly. When he moves, bone is visible just under his skin. In fact his fur seems almost mangey, as if mites or ticks had gotten to him at some point. But the way he moves, with exaggerated action and far too much energy, speaks of health not visible. He’s entirely purple except for the band of red around his belly, though it’s not nearly as even or visible as most.
